Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This policy explains how Élan collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or register your interest.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

Élan is the controller of the personal data processed through this website. For privacy requests or questions, contact us on WhatsApp at .

2. Personal data we collect

When you submit the registration form, we collect:

  • your name;
  • your email address and telephone number;
  • any message you choose to provide;
  • your consent to be contacted; and
  • your IP address, submission time and limited technical data needed to protect the form from abuse.

We receive this information directly from you.

3. Why we use your data

We use your information to:

  • record and manage your request to hear about Élan;
  • contact you about the launch or your request;
  • prevent fraudulent, automated or abusive form submissions; and
  • comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We rely on your consent to contact you about the launch. We rely on our legitimate interests in protecting the website and form from abuse. Where necessary, we may also process data to meet legal obligations.

4. Where your data is stored and who receives it

Registration details are stored in a protected file on our website hosting environment and are sent to the email address configured to receive registration notifications. Access is limited to people who need the information to manage launch enquiries.

We may also use service providers for hosting and email delivery. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When the page loads, Google may receive your IP address and browser request under its own privacy policy. If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, WhatsApp/Meta will process that interaction under its own terms and privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising-based profiling.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep registration details only for as long as needed to manage your interest in Élan, respond to you, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. We review the records periodically and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed. Form-security rate-limit records are kept for up to one hour; browser session data expires when your browser session ends.

6. Cookies and similar technology

We use an essential session cookie to secure the form, prevent cross-site request forgery and show submission feedback. We also store a local browser preference after you acknowledge the Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy, so the acknowledgement screen is not shown on every visit. This preference does not identify you or track your browsing. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear this local preference in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent the form from working correctly.

7. Your privacy rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, request data portability where applicable and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before it was withdrawn.

To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD, or with your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including protected server storage, input validation, anti-forgery controls and rate limiting. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its revision date.
